The Perception Shift . 2011/12
The founder Otto Buchinger developed the health principle of therapeutic fasting and later founded the Buchinger Clinic. In 2013, the clinic celebrated its 60th anniversary. Today, two clinics are managed by the founder's children and grandchildren (family name Wilhelmi).
Fasting is the origin. How can this origin be connected to the present and the future?
For the anniversary event, the positioning and brand appearance of the clinic was revised. In addition, the founder's name “Buchinger” was to be merged with the present family name “Wilhemi”.
The design is based on the idea of changing perceptions during fasting. People’s sense of taste becomes more intense, their sense of smell becomes more nuanced and sometimes their sight improves. People feel different. The time at the clinic serves to reflect, to rest and also to look ahead: there is a shift in perception on all levels. This is why the shift became the basis for the design idea.
In recent years, the corporate design has been changed.
